Hypoxia, also known as hypoxiation is the disease due to deprived or lack of oxygen supply at tissue (group of cells) level. Hypoxia not only affects that certain organ (group of tissues) but has its affects on the whole body. Hypoxia occurs when the oxygen saturation level in body decreases to equal or less than 90%.
